Fruit Loops Art Center is the Gorge Art Hub for creatives of all ages and families. We strive to meet the needs of our community by providing a variety of art programs:
Open Studio for families
Art Clubs for toddlers-middle school
Workshops for for kids and adults
Multi-day Camps
Private Reservations for friends/family gatherings, birthdays, community events, etc
Some of our goals that these programs at Fruit Loops Art Center cater to are:
Provide a consistent art group-learning setting year around
Bring in new artists/creatives and materials to peak curiosity, exploration and interest
Repackage and repurpose art supplies to be utilized
To be an incubator/safe haven for creative ideas coming from community organizations, artists, and students.
To be a place to celebrate and gather with friends and family
Why a scholarship fund? As a small business we are not able to meet the financial assistance needs of the Gorge community on our own. We feel very supported by this local community and know that there are others near and far interested in providing financial assistance support for kids and adults to be able to have art and creative experiences in their lives.
How is the scholarship fund used? We address individual requests for scholarship assistance based on a sliding scale and will give priority to families who qualify for free or reduced lunch through the public school system.
